About#
I am Professor of Mathematics (Algebra) at the RPTU University Kaiserslautern-Landau, member of the Department of Mathematics and part of the Algebra, Geometry and Computer Algebra Group (AGAG). My main research area is representation theory. I enjoy interactions with algebraic geometry, category theory, combinatorics, and computer algebra. I am broadly interested in problems across mathematics, mathematical physics, and theoretical computer science.
Some specific topics I am interested in are:
Birational geometry and representation theory of symplectic singularities
Representation theory of (finite-dimensional) algebras: cellular algebras, Frobenius/symmetric algebras, highest weight categories, families of algebras
Lie theory: Coxeter groups, complex/symplectic reflection groups, Lie algebras, quantum groups, Hecke algebras, Macdonald polynomials
Tensor categories and categorification
Algorithmic and constructive techniques
I am deputy speaker of the DFG SFB-TRR 195 Symbolic Tools in Mathematics and their Application.
